When I got to Simply Mac, the website in use was dated and insufficient for the rapidly increasing needs of the company. My goal in the redesign was to show off the beauty of Apple’s® products and to create a clean, inviting and focused experience. Where the previous site had overloaded the user with too many options (and admittedly too much green), I wanted to provide simplicity.
There were many challenges and constraints throughout this design process, as there is with every project. In the face of those challenges and through this evolution, I believe the experience of the user was improved upon greatly when the site was released.
